Spinach and Sausage Pasta Bake
Ingredients
- 3/4 pound pasta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound spicy Italian sausage
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 (10 ounce) package spinach, chopped
- ½ cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Directions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain and set aside.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large skillet, heat oil. Cook the sausages through until no longer pink. Cut sausage into ¼ inch pieces.
- In a large mixing bowl, add in pasta, sausage, onion, garlic, heavy cream, basil, spinach, and mozzarella cheese.
- Carefully transfer mixture to a large casserole dish. Sprinkle the top with parmesan cheese.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes, or until desired crispiness on top.
